To Shirley's Family:
I offer my deepest condolences on Shirley's passing.
As a Fellow of the Institute for the Arts and Humanistic Studies during Shirley's many years as its Administrative Assistant to the Director, I knew her to be a gracious and devoted person, who always had a smile and gave willingly of her services.
I, for one, counted her as a friend.
Not only will she be missed by her family but by those of us who were fortunate to know her.
R.I.P.
