Martin E. “Budgy” Druckemiller, Sr., 86 of Dry Valley Road, Lewistown, went to be with his Lord and Savior at 11:42 p.m., Friday, August 2, 2019.

Born November 9, 1932 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Viola (Snook) Druckemiller. His loving wife, Marilyn L. (Lydick) Walters Druckemiller preceded him in death.
Martin is survived by his children, Martin E. “Jake” Druckemiller, Jr. and wife Kimbra of Mifflintown; Daniel M. Druckemiller and wife Kimbra of Lewistown; Steven Druckemiller and wife Kathryn of McVeytown; Brian Druckemiller and wife Tracy of Milroy.
Martin was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia “Ginia” M. Rosenberry and brothers, Wilbur M. “Junior” Druckemiller, Jr., Melvin L. “Chum” Druckemiller and Glen A. Druckemiller.
He is survived by his sisters, Thelma P. “Mag” Carter, Betty M. Ritter, Marge F. Knepp, Linda G. Everly and a brother, David P. “Sonny” Druckemiller; 9 grandchiildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
In his early years, he was employed by W.D. Steinbach Sons. He later retired from E. DeVecchis and Sons with over 40 years of service as a truck driver, logging over one million miles and was awarded the Safe Driver Award.
Martin was a member of the Wagner United Methodist Church in McClure.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchild. He loved spending time on the porch swing watching the birds and hummingbirds and just merely watching the grass grow.
Services will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m., at the Wagner United Methodist Church, 6280 U.S. Highway 522 North, McClure with Pastor Steve Swigart officiating. There will be a visitation with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
Interment will be in Wagner Cemetery, McClure.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Martin’s memory can be made to the Wagner United Methodist Church, 6280 U.S. Highway 522 North, McClure, PA 17841 or the charity of one’s choice.
