Judith K. Rook, 70, formerly of Belleville, passed away at 5:38 p.m. on Thursday June 6, 2019 at William Penn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born November 13, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ethlyn (Miller) Pearce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Larry Rook in 2008.
Judy will be remembered and missed by her loving children, Dawn Barnett and companion Marshall Hafer, of Maitland, William ‘Bill’ Ruby and companion Natalie Troupe, of Belltown, Rob Ruby and wife Janelle, of Belleville, step-children, Larry Rook Jr., and wife Ginny, of Lewistown, and Susan Wagner and husband Cory, of Reedsville, siblings, Oneita Osborne and husband Denny, Robert Pearce Jr. and companion Kim Hartzler, and Tim Pearce and wife Nancy, Grandchildren, Rashell Ruby, Linzee Renninger, Tyler Taylor, Hannah Ruby, Tanner Taylor, Trevor Taylor, Becky Isenberg, Seth Isenberg, and Thomas Rook, and Great-Grandchildren, Issac Specht, Alliyah Specht, Blake Specht, Evelyn Renninger, Jozee Renninger, Isabelle K., Tegan Taylor, Kaysen Taylor, and Aryah Renninger, 2 nieces, and 4 nephews.
Earlier in life, Judy was employed at The Arrow Shirt Factory, The American Viscose Corp., William Penn Nursing Home, and The Lewistown Mini-Mart.
Judy’s family meant the most to her, especially her grandchildren that she loved to spoil. Most of all, her passionate spirit was always felt at her children’s, grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s sporting events. She will be missed greatly.
A funeral service in loving memory of Judith will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday June 10, 2019 at The Barr Funeral Home Inc. and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown with Rev. Bill Howe officiating. There will be a viewing held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Sunday June 9 at the funeral home, and an additional viewing held day of service from 10:00 a.m. until time of service also at the funeral home.
Interment will take place in Mattawana Cemetery.
