Emerson Ford Kochenderfer, 73, of East Waterford, passed away at 9:57 a.m. on Tuesday April 16, 2019.
Born January 30, 1946 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Harry and Helen (Richardson) Kochenderfer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death numerous brothers and sisters.
Emerson is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Campbell) Kochenderfer; his children, Emerson Ford Kochenderfer, of Kentucky, Karen Kochenderfer, of Hazleton, Daniel Kochenderfer of Lewistown, and Christopher Kochenderfer of Honey Grove; numerous brothers and sisters, and 10 Grandchildren.
Emerson was enlisted in the U.S. Army.
He was employed at Hampton Construction for many years in Camp Hill. He attended Ferguson Valley Brethren Church, and in his free time, he loved hunting, fishing, watching and playing sports, and most of all, spending time with his family.
A memorial service in loving memory of Emerson will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday April 19, 2019 at Ferguson Valley Brethren Church, 8451 Ferguson Valley Rd, McVeytown, with Rev. Kenneth Grove officiating. There will be a visitation held at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
