A.Lois DuMond, 92, of McVeytown, passed away at 8:20 p.m. on Saturday April 13, 2019 at William Penn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born January 13, 1927, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Richard L. and Lottie Mae (Boop) Powell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard DuMond, in 1981, and by sisters, Charlotte Ann Cummings, and Sylvia Mae Wolfe, and by brothers Kenneth Powell, Richard Powell, David Powell, and Daniel Powell.
Lois is survived by: her loving children, Steve DuMond and wife Jane, of Lewistown, Kim Perreca and husband Ralph of Kingston, N.Y.,; step-children, Zelda Klinefelter and husband Donald, Judy DuMond, Jeanette Dumond, Richard DuMond, Thomas DuMond and wife Diana, Perry DuMond and wife Kathy , and Rosemary Lepley and husband Bob, of Lewistown; siblings, Joan Rodgers, of Shermantown, Thelma Dumm and husband Richard, of Mifflintown, and 13 Grandchildren, and 23 Great-Grandchildren.
Lois was employed as a secretary at Joe Krentzman and Son, and at Lewistown Bekins Moving Co. as secretary.
Lois was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the care of the Barr Funeral Home Inc and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
